Just Detention International (JDI) is a human rights organization that seeks to end sexual abuse in detention. Their work is guided by three core goals: to hold government officials accountable for sexual abuse in detention; to promote public attitudes that value the safety and dignity of incarcerated people; and to ensure that survivors of sexual abuse get the help they need.
An application for prison tablets, which incarcerated survivors can use to access resources from JDI. These resources include counseling from advocates at JDI, educational materials about the crisis of sexual abuse in detention, and healing / mediation guides. The scope may also be increased to include customized resources for released survivors, to better support their transition back into their communities.
