Impact fund is a Berkeley based NPO that provides grants, advocacy, and education to support impact litigation on behalf of communities seeking economic, environmental, racial, and social justice.
The project involves creating a mobile application that equips lower-income Americans with class action lawsuit information, guidance through claims, and legal rights details. Once a user receives a class action, the app will allow them to navigate case-related information, track updates, learn about their rights, and engage with important legal processes. We will also create an admin facing web application to allow administrators to upload new cases and update current case information. The project hopes to break the disconnect between lower income Americans and critical class action proceedings and their legal rights by making such information readily available through a mobile application!
